CGV International General Terms and Conditions of Sale for the Doug Schoon Event The price of €599 includes only conference entry. All additional expenses, such as hotel, flights, transportation, and lunch and dinner, are the responsibility of the participant. The conference runs from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM for both days, with a one-hour lunch break. Participants are free to have lunch wherever they wish. Meals are not provided by the organizers. The payment and registration terms described here apply identically to all participants from all other countries, without exception. The price will be €599. This amount must be paid in full, directly on the official website : www.formationonglerie.fr. An invoice will be automatically sent to the courriel address provided during registration on the payment platform. It is mandatory to translate the terms and conditions into your own language in order to know all the details of this event. Each participant is free to translate the terms and conditions into the language of their choice. However, the organizer accepts no responsibility for any misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the terms used in these documents. It is therefore the responsibility of each individual to ensure they fully understand the terms and conditions, as the organizer cannot be held liable for any misunderstanding of the terminology used. THE FOLLOWING GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE APPLY IDENTICALLY TO ALL COUNTRIES. Meals, accommodation, and all related expenses are not included in the price. Participants are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. The meeting point is in the hotel lobby, 15 minutes before the start of the course each day. For security reasons, participants are not permitted to enter the training room unless accompanied by a manager or authorized member of the organization. Access restricted to participants To ensure the smooth running of the event and the safety and well-being of all participants, access to the training room is strictly reserved for those registered for this event. Therefore, accompanying persons, family members, or personal translators are not permitted to attend the event or enter the designated area. This rule applies to everyone, without exception, in order to maintain a work environment conducive to learning and adherence to the organization’s guidelines. The organizers, collaborators, and trainers have the right to use all images and videos of the event, during and after the event, without any time limitation and without financial compensation to each participant. All photos taken by the organizers or by professionals, whether or not hired by the trainer, translator, Nailartfrance Events, L’école des champions, or the Anaïs Abaakil Academy, are the exclusive property of their respective owners. No refund will be given to the participant, regardless of the reason given for their cancellation. This includes, but is not limited to, refusal of funding, the occurrence of a force majeure event (such as unforeseen personal circumstances, illness, the death of a close relative, a change of workshop dates, or any other event that may prevent participation). In the event of postponement, a new date will be set and communicated to all participants. Participants acknowledge acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale at the time of booking and waive any right to claim or request for reimbursement related to a date change. However, in the event of a definitive cancellation of the event without the possibility of postponement, by decision of the trainer and for sudden reasons beyond their control (such as a pandemic, accident, death, border closures, war, or terrorist attack), participants will be reimbursed in full. A flat fee of €60 per person, corresponding to the registration fee, will be retained. By registering for the event, paying the initial amount of €599, reading the Terms and Conditions, each participant accepts all the clauses of this event, at the time of booking, the Terms and Conditions of Sale, the registration procedures, and the waiver of image rights. Participants agree to respect the regulations and all individuals involved, and to follow the internal rules of the event venue as well as all instructions from the organizers. Punctuality is required to ensure the smooth running of the planned activities. Any disrespectful or disruptive behavior towards speakers, trainers, translators, organizers, or other participants may result in immediate exclusion from the event, without any right to a refund or compensation. Participants acknowledge that this rule is essential to guarantee a positive and harmonious experience for all those present, thus establishing a clear and indisputable framework. The reception room within the 4-star Hotel Elysée is designed to offer a pleasant, comfortable, and professional environment conducive to learning and discussion. It includes one chair for each participant, arranged to promote collaboration and visibility for everyone. Audiovisual equipment, three screens, a video projector, teaching materials, a whiteboard or flipchart with markers, one microphone for the trainer, and one microphone for the translator. A notebook and pen are also provided. Participants confirm having read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale without reservation. GENERAL REGISTRATION CONDITIONS FOR INTERPRETERS As a reminder, translations during the event must be carried out exclusively from English into the participants’ native language. The organization does not provide interpreters or audio equipment. Interpreters must pay a fee of €599. Their designated area will be located in the hall of the seminar room, at the back of the room. Each interpreter is required to translate from English into the native language of the participants concerned. Translating from French into another language is strictly prohibited, mainly for time-management reasons. No additional time will be granted to interpreters during the conference. Teams bringing their own interpreter are solely responsible for providing all necessary audio equipment, consisting at minimum of a headset and microphone for the interpreter, as well as earphones for the participants. No equipment will be made available by the organization. If participants or interpreters do not bring their own equipment, they will not be allowed to perform translation during the conference. The organization declines all responsibility regarding the equipment: each team is responsible for ensuring that their equipment functions properly. If the equipment is defective or unusable, no translation will be possible.
